Tech companies allow their buyers to trade their old phones for new ones by paying a token for the new ones. This is because there is always something fascinating about the new. Far more superior than phones, Jesus brought a new deal in our spiritual walk with God. The Israelites in their relationship with God were seeking to please God by keeping external rules and offering animal sacrifices.
Rather than bringing us an upgraded model, God sent Jesus His son who came and brought a perfect deal by dying on the cross. Unlike in the old version where we could struggle and rely on other people to know God, the Spirit of God who lives in our hearts teaches us and gives us the power to live as God wants. You receive this new deal when you trade your self – righteous efforts for God’s love and Spirit by simply asking Christ into your heart through faith. You have God’s promise to make you His people (Heb. 8:10). From then, the Holy Spirit works in your heart to love and obey God’s Word, makes you attractive character wise, leads you to join other believers in fellowship and gives you boldness to talk to others about Christ. As a believer, are you excelling in all these packages of the new deals?

What does the Bible say about abundance? Abundance is frequently mentioned in the Bible as something God offers to those who trust in Him. The Scripture says that God will provide an abundant life to those who “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.” Abundance in this sense means a life full of everything you need to sustain yourself in joy and purpose.
Rain is referred to as a blessing after a drought, a symbol of God’s love and teachings to spread over the world, and even as a flood to wash away the sins of a corrupt world!
Looking at the above scripture of Elijah and King Ahab,this is what God will do to many people,even He will deal with their unbelief,when the Prophet of God declares open heaven for abundance of Rain which means of blessings,whether you believe it or not God Will honour His Word.
Today the ground is thirsty,physical and spiritual drought every where,so there is need for us to experience abundant rain from Divine throne of God.
Now the abundance of Rain we are talking about is not just a liquid but something tangible, valuable,that God will do and people will see and know of true that it is “Divine Rain”
*Zechariah 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the* *LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.*
This is exactly what Elijah did; he only had one petition as he came before the Lord – “Lord, send the rain! Send the rain! Send the rain!
Believe me beloveth no matter how dry the land of your life maybe,no matter how hot the land of your life maybe,no matter the level of drought or famine you are experiencing in your finances, business, marriage, family etc.
There can still be abundance of Rain.
Exercise your faith like that of Elijah
And asked For Divine Rain today.

A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly. (Prov 21:28)
The most difficult human being that gives the devil a serious headache, is a man that tries his best to be blameless. Such a man is too difficult for the devil to handle, all because the avenue to trap him is without basis and faultless. There is no ground to accuse him before his God! Therefore, when the devil knows that you are blameless like Daniel, he would try the second method, and that is called ” false witness”. He will begin to say what you have not done. This method is so powerful to the extent that Jesus himself was sentenced based on this method. Devil knows that he can’t find fault in our saviour, so he raised a false witness against him, of which they eventually succeeded with in killing Him. May the weapon of false witness lose their purpose on your life in Jesus name. That is why you must always pray like David in Psalms 27:12 “Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty”. God knows the power that lies behind false witness! He knows that it is one of the devil’s strategy to finish the righteous and the blameless, so he warns His people never to be like the devil in bearing false witness. Do you even know that the judgement for bearing false witness is death? Whatever you are not sure of, please don’t attest to it because it attracts a death penalty. You may not die physically, but I am sure it will lead to your eternal death. There are three ways a man can bear false witness. (1)This is to bear it AGAINST YOUR FELLOW MAN. It is a witness you are not sure about and yet you confirmed it, and it landed the man in trouble. (2) This is to bear it FOR YOUR FELLOW MAN. This is when you falsify an information in order to benefit or deliver a fellow. You may think its just to help him out of trouble, yet it shall be regarded as false witness. (3)This is to bear it FOR GOD. This is very critical, since it has to do with God! This form is so common among believers and most especially ministers of the gospel. They tend to say what God has not done in order to win souls for Christ. That is false witness for God. Whichever one a man falls into, the death penalty still remains the same. That is why we must learn to confess any sin that the Spirit convicts us about. It is wisdom not to drag with the Lord whenever He points your attention to a particular sin. Just confess it and ask him to forgive you, who can tell the last minute. Remember that any unconfessed sin has power to hinder one from entering the place of eternal rest. Don’t ever bear a witness that you are not sure of, as that will amount to false witness, and the penalty is death!
As I was studying today, I stumbled on this scripture, and the Lord said, “warn yourself and warn my people.” Let them stop bearing false witness for me, because it will result into death! What is this scripture that showed that it is possible to bear witness for God? In 1 Corinthians 15:15 “Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not” This is an analogy to caution you that, whenever you are not sure of what God has done, don’t say He has done it, that is false witness for God. I once fell into this, one day we invited a man of God to minster in our church and before his arrival, I had been telling the members what they should expect of God through the man. Just because I knew him briefly, I decided to encourage the members to be present, because the man was fire brand. On the day of the programme, I was surprised to see the Pastor drunk to stupor. He was drunk to the extent that several of the church members perceived it. Some of them came asking me whether it was still the same man I bore witness about. Immediately, I heard the Lord say, “You have borne a false witness for him”. Instantly I quickly say, “Lord I am sorry, I will not do it again.” In what way are you bearing false witness? Whether for man, God, or against man. It cannot be overlooked! God is not interested in our false package to earn him credit or to save us. Sin cannot bring salvation! Just declare what you know and leave the rest. Let your words be based on what you are sure of, and you shall bypass the death penalty of bearing false witness. God bless you.
Prayer: Oh God, please help me to avoid death penalty that comes as a result of bearing false witness, in Jesus name.
